Altora Security
Physical systems. Clearly defined scope.
Altora Security designs and installs physical security systems supporting applicable CMMC requirements. Altora is not presented as CMMC certified, DoD approved or an official compliance assessor. Overall compliance and certification remain the customer’s responsibility.
Two ways to engage
Installation & Readiness
01
CMMC Physical Security Installation
Design and installation of integrated DMP access control and intrusion detection, Turing AI surveillance, vehicle monitoring and protected security infrastructure. Scope is matched to your facility and applicable physical protection requirements.
Facility security assessment, system engineering, equipment selection, installation, integration, commissioning and implementation documentation, followed by ongoing maintenance and monitoring options. Physical security readiness is one part of your overall CMMC program.

Integrated Facility Protection
DMP Access Control
Commercial door controllers, individual employee credentials, restricted-area permissions and access event logging for aerospace access control and defense contractor security systems.
DMP Intrusion Detection
Commercial intrusion alarms, perimeter detection, restricted-area monitoring and alarm notifications configured to your facility’s operating hours and response procedures.
Turing AI Video Surveillance
Commercial cameras, entrance and production-area coverage, protected recording and authorized remote viewing. Recording, analytics and network access are reviewed with your IT and cybersecurity teams.
License Plate Recognition
Vehicle identification and entrance, parking and perimeter monitoring. Camera placement, lighting, speed, retention and authorized use determine the design; plate recognition is not an identity or access authorization guarantee.
Secure Security Infrastructure
Structured cabling, fiber optics, secured equipment cabinets and protected wiring, coordinated with customer network segmentation, equipment ownership and infrastructure requirements.
Commercial Security Monitoring
Professional alarm monitoring, system maintenance, inspections and ongoing technical support. Confirm signal paths, response contacts and service responsibilities before commissioning.
How does physical security support CMMC Level 2?
Physical protection limits who can reach systems, equipment and environments that handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). Altora implements facility capabilities relevant to NIST SP 800-171 physical protection; the customer’s compliance team defines the assessed boundary and applicable requirements.
Physical access restrictions for authorized employees and approved personnel.
Visitor entry procedures, temporary access and coordination of required escorting and visitor activity monitoring.
Restricted-area protection for CUI work areas, equipment rooms and supporting infrastructure.
Physical access audit logging, credential/device management and agreed retention and review procedures.
Facility and perimeter monitoring using the measures selected for the site. Cameras and plate recognition are not universal CMMC mandates.
What documentation can support an assessment?
Altora can provide implementation records for the installed physical security scope. Your IT, cybersecurity and compliance teams connect those records to policies, operating procedures and assessment evidence; installation documentation alone does not demonstrate overall compliance.
Agreed equipment inventory, device locations and as-built security drawings.
Configured access permissions, authorized administrators and credential handoff records.
Commissioning results, event reporting workflows and maintenance records.
Coordination of access reviews, log retrieval and physical access device accountability.
Confirm the required NIST revision and assessment scope with your compliance team; do not assume a newer publication automatically changes your contract.
How is an aerospace or defense facility project delivered?
Altora scopes the project around production operations, restricted areas and customer security requirements, then coordinates implementation with facility management and the IT, cybersecurity and compliance teams.
Select equipment and engineer integrations without assuming existing hardware must be replaced.
Plan approved installation windows, safe egress, commissioning and administrator training.
Define ongoing monitoring, maintenance and system change documentation in the service agreement.
Practical answers
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Altora certify my organization for CMMC Level 2?
No. Altora designs and installs physical security systems that can support applicable CMMC requirements. Altora is not an official CMMC assessor, and overall compliance and certification remain the customer’s responsibility.
How does DMP access control support NIST SP 800-171 physical protection?
Configured DMP access control can restrict door access to authorized credentials, manage permissions and produce access event records. The customer must also operate policies for visitors, access reviews, log review and device accountability within its assessed scope.
Are cameras and license plate recognition required for every CMMC facility?
No. Applicable requirements focus on physical protection outcomes rather than mandating a camera or plate recognition system at every site. Altora and the customer’s security team evaluate appropriate measures for the facility.
Can Altora support aerospace manufacturing and defense contractor upgrades?
Yes. Altora scopes commercial access control, intrusion detection, surveillance and infrastructure upgrades for aerospace manufacturing, defense contractor and government facility environments, subject to site requirements and project qualification.
Can existing security systems be incorporated?
Compatible equipment may be retained after review of models, condition, administrative ownership, support and integration requirements. Altora documents necessary upgrades and limitations before implementation.
What should we provide for a facility security assessment?
Share the general facility location, door and area counts, existing equipment, target schedule and non-sensitive project goals. Coordinate CUI boundaries and detailed security plans through an approved channel; do not upload CUI, passwords or sensitive facility drawings in the public form.
Facility location, industry, approximate door/camera count, existing systems, physical security goals and preferred project timeline. Do not submit CUI, classified information, passwords or sensitive security plans.
Altora confirms project scope, site requirements and scheduling after review. An inquiry does not confirm an assessment date or any compliance outcome.
